Located 13 km to the northeast of Kuala Lumpur, the National Zoo houses some 4,000 animals from 800 species of animals, birds and reptiles, while the aquarium has 80 species of marine and fresh water fish. Within its extensive grounds are sections catering for different species of animals and species. |
We proceed next to the Royal Selangor Pewter Factory, where upon arrival, you will be taken for a tour at the pewter gallery. The gallery offers a host of interactive displays and fascinating exhibits. From the gallery we continue with the highlight of the tour by enrolling into the 'School of Hard Knocks'.
Using just a few simple tools (hammer, wooden mould, scrapper, etc.), you will be given an opportunity to make your own personalised pewter dish with your initials or message engraved on the dish.
