Of the cluster of 99 other islands that form the Langkawi archipelago. The 3 inhabited islands are Pulau Tuba, Pulau Rebak Besar and Pulau Rebak Kecil.
The others are mainly uninhabited, little more than rocky outcrops separated by narrow channels with coral reefs, a diverse marine life and unusual wildlife.

A mountainous island with very little lowland, the island of Pulau Tuba, about five kilometres south of Langkawi island, is the natural habitat for an interesting selection of wildlife. Undeveloped and undisturbed, with barely enough space for the dirt track that surrounds the island, it's a good place to see wildlife, up close and personal. fishermen returning home in the evenings in their quaint fishing boats glimpse of some elusive creatures. should note there is only one place to stay - the Sunrise Beach Resort. Pulau Rebak island and frequently referred to as Pulau Rebak and the other smaller Pulau Rebak Kecil (Small Rebak Island). Rebak's attractions are lovely white sandy beaches, a lush tropical interior filled with with tropical birds and an old fashioned rustic charm. The island is named after the Rebak tree or, as another version would put it - named because Rebak Besar resembles a traditional Malay drum or 'rebak'.

Staying There offers full services in addition to a first class resort. Accommodation, tennis courts, bars and water sports are all available. Activities Spectacular birds like the Oriental Pied, Hornbill, Racquet Tail Drongo, Pacific Reef Egret may make a guest appearance in the early morning or late afternoon. For fishing, boats can be chartered for day or night fishing. You can also explore hills, slopes and rugged terrain on mountain bikes. Pulau Rebak Kecil Midway between Pantai Cenang and Pulau Rebak Besar, this island is popular with day trippers. Just just a 15-minute boat ride away from Langkawi, Rebak retains an unspoiled beauty and allure despite its easy access from Pantai Cenang. island of Pulau Rebak Kecil close by, remembering you'll have to make tracks for home not too long after as the tide only stays low for about two hours. Boats are available for hire to visit some of the other nearby islands towards the northern end.

Pulau Bumbon You can get there by booking a day trip. A quiet and deserted island. the beauty of tropical flowers through a project managed by the Malaysian Agricultural Research and Development Institute (MARDI), transforming the island into a floral paradise. There are gardens shaded by lofty trees displaying their scents and kaleidoscope of colours.
